day#2

Woke up this morning and got my schedule all worked out! I have classes and am officially considered a junior… pretty exciting! After that it was lunch time, a BBQ, and then we had to listen to the president speak for about an hour. While I was waiting for the speech, I met another transfer student which is pretty rare… her name is Casey and she is my first friend! I found out that she goes to school in Cali, pretty small world! Later when we had to get into our groups, GO BLUE!, I met so many other transfer students who were also so excited to be in NY. It was encouraging to see so many people who all felt the same way I do about this awesome city.
During our group I met some neat people, a couple of which are from Cali too! One of the girls Jenny knows all about Jazzercise and even knows who Judi and Shanna are! I was so excited. There is also a friend named Nicole who lives near Magic Mountain; At our casino night tonight me, Casey, and Nicole took our first “friend” picture! It was a moment to remember! Other than that it has been pretty laid back, just getting to know people and learning the school…
