Waiting...

I am finally 21!!!! Last week I turned 21 and had the best day ever! I woke up early after a slumber party with my good friends Ashley and Natalie. We went to Jazzercise to work out and ended up getting our rear ends on TV! KUSI was at Jazzer and so we made sure we were too. After a great day of laying around by the pool, I had an amazing birthday party at Dave and Busters in Irvine. There ended up being around 40 of my friends and family and I was so happy to have so many people I loved show up for my special day. I could not have wished for a better day! As for the rest of my life, I have had the opportunity to be a vagabon for a while while I wait to move to NY. It has been an interesting experience. I never realized how hard it is to be selfish when you are at other people's houses. That is probably the biggest lesson I have learned so far in this process, just how selfish I am. I like to do what I want when I want, and in staying with others I don't have that opportunity. It is a good lesson to learn since shortly I will have to share a very small dorm room with another person. As for school, I am kind of in denial about the whole moving process! I leave on Wednesday August 25th and I am still not really that excited or scared. There really are no emotions going on right now since I have blocked out the thought of leaving my comfort zone. These next 9 days are going to be interesting, dealing with goodbyes, no more church, and the end of my Jazzercising.... SCARY!!!
