this is by far one of the neatest photos i have ever seen!!! holy words i'm trying not to say as much!! Checkout the curvature of the Earth in relation to the setting Sun. The Sahara is magnificent; and the lights from Paris to somewhere in Algeria to Rome. Anyway, i love this photo taken from the Columbia spacecraft (and no, that's not the shadow from Columbia's wing.).

Pat is the man!! How else can one man almost single handedly continue to enervate the Christian community with his platitudes and unfounded political accusations. Why are people still sending this guy money? Isn't he the one that suggested that 9/11 was the result of God lifting his aegis over the US due to our sin (whenever i hear this i always wonder when this shield was first applied. And if this is the case, what about here or here or even this place.) Remarks like this are confounding, but remarkably fun to read and listen to. So, I guess there's use for him, after all.

but man, i had to. This so rocks!!! This could be the incipient phase of all my childhood fantasies come to life. I am so applying to U. of New Mexico...
